日月潭紅茶 Sun Moon Lake Black Tea

日月潭是台灣著名的觀光景點，也是紅茶產區。1936年，新井耕吉郎來到此地，隻身開闢茶園與製茶所，讓日月潭紅茶成為進貢天皇與外銷歐美的高級品，戰後更留在台灣，將經驗交接給來台的技術人員。台灣技術人員繼承他的努力，將緬甸大葉種茶樹與台灣山茶配種，培育出日月潭紅茶「紅玉」。

紅玉以特殊的香味聞名國際。其茶湯散發清新的薄荷與熟果香，飲入口中，如此香氣接連襲來，入喉回甘，又帶出淡雅的蜜香，彷彿保存了野花盛開的草叢，與蜂群於其中收集釀造的百花蜜精華。

Sun Moon Lake Black Tea

Sun Moon Lake, a famous tourist spot in Taiwan, is also a black tea production area.
